The soft world

Collective projects and international exchanges prompt reflection on shared histories and raise questions about contemporary society. I am particularly concerned with how colonial histories continue to shape social structures, gender relations and relationships between humans and nature.

In the studio, these reflections take shape in three-dimensional forms, where conscious thought and unconscious associations meet. Through the works, I gain insight into my questions and feelings and begin to make sense of the world I inhabit.
